Don’t forget that our next Haiti meeting takes place this Saturday, July 31st, at Deb and Dan VanGordon’s house. Their address is 1410 E 400 N Fremont 46737. Potluck dinner will begin at 6:00, with dessert and meeting at 7:00. Please e-mail Deb with what you will bring for dinner at debvangordon@hotmail.com. If your spouse is not participating in the trip, please bring them along so they can become familiar with our mission and have all their questions answered. This will be a very informative meeting, as we will be discussing health issues, vaccinations, meal planning, and we will have packing show and tell!
Tina’s brother-in-law Chuck is coming to SonLight on August 8th to speak to our congregation about the mission in Haiti. We will have information available to our church about how they can become personally involved and hopefully Chuck’s presence will spark a fire amongst our people to support God’s work in Haiti. We plan to have the black foot lockers set up for donations, hoping to take lots of formula and supplies with us in October!
